Course Overview

This certification is necessary before you can move on to the next stage of diving which is the Rescue diver course.

During this course you learn how to assess, cope with and manage a wide range of emergency situations and apply the necessary first-aid. While the course will emphasize emergencies that may arise from diving, this course will be useful in many areas of life should you be involved in an emergency situation.

*Note that if you already have a first-aid qualification, done within the last 2 years, you may not need to complete this course, but you must provide proof of your qualification and it must be recognized by PADI.
